I had a lot of work to do on Monday so I didn’t end up switching layouts until Tuesday, making this day two. At this point I am typing a whopping 11.5 words per minute (compared to an average of 91.03 on QWERTY). I started some Dvorak typing practice things online, but I don’t want to link the site without permission from the author.
So far I am surprised by some of the keys in the layout; L in particular, but at this point I will defer to Dvorak’s expertise. The weirdest thing is the punctuation in the top left instead of the bottom right. My biggest problem is how frustrating it is to be unable to type at any reasonable speed.
