This last week I have been in a small dip, falling from about 70 to hover in the mid-sixties for a while. However, amidst the slow tests I managed to get a good one and break my record with a 75.53. Hail to progress and whatnot.

I just broke my previous 70 WPM record with a 73.93. It was a beautiful, long sentenced passage from Dracula with few quotes or errant punctuation. The average is still low, sitting at 66.4, but at least the top speed is still rising.

I’m gaining my speed back pretty quickly (my pre-vacation speed, not my qwerty speed) and am now in the low 60s with today’s avereage at 61.76 WPM. The error rate is back under control at 6.4%.
