Average speed is down today. I hadn’t taken any tests recently (4 days) and I’m showing the effects in my speed. I’ve been discussing WPM in general with Ken and we’ve noticed a trend in WPM gains. I have a fairly steady upward slope across tests, but my tests are not evenly distributed across days. It seems to me that time passing doesn’t have much effect on WPM, but tests taken certainly does. If I can get more people’s data to show the same, I might be able to claim that WPMC actually increases your typing speed. I’d like to claim that it does now, but without having an proof.
