Traffic

So, I was looking at my site stats and I noticed the top 3 searches that send people here were ‘demotivational posters’, ‘demotivation’, and ‘demotivational’. With only a couple posters up, and only one NOT being a ludumdare inside joke, I was surprised. So I got on google and searched demotivational poster, expecting to be fairly high. While I was very entertained by the results, I didn’t find one of mine until page 15 or something, and it was my excuses one from LD #11. I’m impressed.

If you’re here from that, congratulations on having the determination to go through that many result pages. I salute you!

New Shirts!

I finally added a couple shirt ideas I’ve had laying around. I put almost all the new ones on plain white T shirts since that is the cheapest way you can get your hands on them. If you want more options for a design, just let me know – spreadshirt offers a ton of options so if you want something in particular they probably have it. Anyway, you can check out the new designs as they randomly pop up in the sidebar, or you can just visit the shop proper.

Tail Update

After not receiving any feedback whatsoever on tail since I released it in February I had two bug reports / feature requests today. I love to hear about people using my programs! The problems weren’t very big – one was a single line fix and the other was just a couple, so I quickly coded them up and released a new version (1.1.1) on sourceforge. Happily, Flame still works for tail (it has issues with longer name projects… I’ll fix that one day) and sourceforge has really upgraded their upload stuff. It still isn’t great, but its much much MUCH better than before.

You can go to my Tail page or the sourceforge one for the change log. You can download the python source, a windows exe, and/or a windows installer at the sourceforge page.

TF2 Heavy Update!

Hooray! The next update for TF2 is coming next tuesday. Each day they are revealing something new on THIS PAGE so frequent it. So far we only know we are getting a new map, cp_steel. Awesome work steam team! I <3 the free updates – they keep me coming back over and over. Can’t wait for sniper!

LD 12 Time Lapse

Here is my ludum dare time lapse. For those of you who don’t know, ludum dare has two ‘extra’ judging categories – food photo and time lapse. They are just for fun categories, but they do get judged (although how reliably is up for debate). Hopefully that expels any lingering ‘wtf’s people were having about all these pictures and whatnot. Also, the motivational posters are an LD tradition – no judging on those, but there are a LOT of really entertaining ones. Unfortunately, all mine this year are LD inside jokes, so just pretend they are funny and we can all go along with our lives.

Anyway, here is my time lapse from ludum dare 12. It has my main screen, with my webcam pic-in-pic in the top right. Enjoy!
