I’m not sure where my life changed and became less blog-worthy, but I just haven’t posted anything in a long time. Here is a basic synopsis as some sort of apology.

I’ve been spending a (relatively) large amount of time at work lately, which is an interesting story on its own. They have been demanding tons of new features, but none of the management even uses my software. They are still paying me extremely well, but it is frustrating none the less. It also makes me wonder how long they will keep paying me since they aren’t making use of it.

On another front I’m gearing up to start another business, this time in plasma donation. I’m currently still wading through red tape but I have my lawyer ready and have already arranged to steal the manager away from one of the competing places. Goal is to have a business plan laid out in full by the end of the month. I’ll start posting heavily about that as we ramp up operations.

On the games side of things I haven’t done much since I hacked up most of that tutorial game I posted previously about. Once I finish the last thing for the pyed pypers site I will finish it up and post it one the muagames site. I also talked with an old friend who claims interest in being a game artist, so that might work out beautifully. I’ve heard it all so many times before though so I’m not holding my breath.

Most of the rest of my free time is spent drinking with my slc friends. I missed my 18 - 23 years tied down to my girlfriend so I’m just getting my first taste of the bar scene. Synopsis: I suck at pool, can’t dance, and have no alcohol tolerance. Good times.

The last thing(s) I want to mention are my new toys. My roommate and I just bought iPhones and a hottub, and both are spectacular. I spend inordinate amounts of time on the iPhone, and have been in the tub every day since it has been hot. I even wrote this entire post from my iPhone while still in bed convincing my body that it should play nice even though I just tried to poison it with green beer.

You’re in SLC. Doesn’t it have some sort of force field that inverts success at pool, dancing, and drinking? I’m sure you’d rock them all if you were back in Texas. Or maybe in Park City…during Sundance.

Glad to see you back online. I was getting worried.

It absolutely does and I’m going to use that as an excuse to not hit the dance floor from now on. Not sure how to spin it for the already lower alcohol content beer, but I’ll find a way.

I love park city, but it is so expensive! I was up there the other day though watching my friend’s skeleton race, which was the most awesome thing ever.
