Chronolapse 1.0.4

Chronolapse has hit version 1.0.4!

The last version was built without the console window, but when frozen into an executable this was causing the mencoder process to freeze indefinitely. This addresses the issue, fixes the update checking code, and makes the mencoder feedback not hang the GUI while it runs.

Just in time for LD!

Another Chronolapse Update

I’ve been feeling productive and I knocked down the rest of the todo list for Chronolapse.

You can see the project page here

Here is the change log for version 1.0.3

  • fixed a bug with times under 1 second being fired 1000 times too fast
  • silently fails if set to capture 2 monitors but they are duplicated
  • added system wide hotkey — doesnt seem to work right in wx so it is only part implemented
  • added audio tab to dub audio onto your timelapse
  • added a drop shadow option for annotations
  • added a schedule tab for scheduling starts and/or stops

Chronolapse

Well, Chronolapse, my time lapse program, has reached its first release. Click over to the project page for more details. It is a pretty thorough windows time-lapse and stop-motion solution.

I’d really like to get some good looking sample time lapses made with Chronolapse up on youtube and linked from the project page, so if you use it and have something good, send me a link!

Mini LD #3 – Tools

So mini ludum dare #3 is in progress, and the theme is tools. This one isn’t like a normal ludum dare – instead of making games about tools, we’re making tools for making games. I’ve been wasting my time so far, but I finally designed and finished up the GUI for it. Now I just have to write the entire program… :)

Here are some GUI screenshots:
